This video started out as a completely different video we had planned. The original plan was to have them give us their best dad joke. However, the player we decided to give the mic to got great content, not just asking for dad jokes. I went along with it while filming and went back and edited it a few days later. This was posted on Instagram and TikTok in 2026.

This was another really fun video I got to film and edit. With the baseball team being almost all new players. With maybe half or less returning from last season, we wanted to show a more goofy side to these players.
I mic'd up one of the players, who wasn't practicing that day, and gave him my phone to take the pictures on there. I used one of my coworkers' phones to film their reactions.
I learned from this video and the government names video that sometimes having the players do the more funny and spontaneous content with someone they are more familiar with makes better content.
This turned out better than I anticipated personally. After not posting for a while on the TikTok page due to scheduling issues, it did really well. It had more interactions than previous videos from the past 2 years.
Unfortunately, Xavier does not have a football team, but because the Super Bowl is such a popular event, we try to incorporate something that has to do with football for relevance.
We posted this on the Friday before the Super Bowl. Not a lot of the track and field athletes are big into social media, but this one, we actually did not have to persuade the athletes to participate in. So it was a step in the right direction.
The most interacted video project I have been on to date.

My role in this video: Helped with the idea and pitched it in a meeting. From there, I found most of the old pictures of these athletes. Then I filmed the video on MBB media day for the 2024-2025 season.
Most fun video I worked on so far. I saw the trend in 2025 and asked baseball if they were interested. From there, I went to film the video and had a pitcher from the team say their names to get a better reaction. After filming, I edited the video for it to be posted.
Every senior who played baseball during the 2024-2025 academic year had a senior video. I interviewed the players and then edited them. I had to work with the photographers to get pictures of all of them as well.
For this video, we were trying to help the track team get more attention on social media. This was one of the first videos we did to start that.

A coworker of mine had this idea for a mini mic question. From there, I ran it by my bass and the baseball coach at Xavier. We decided on a day to film it, and then I went straight back to the office to edit this. Projects like these are really hard to edit; it is just making sure everything is cut right and shown in the best light. Posted in 2025.
